Date: 21st January 2010
Venue: Delicious, Jalan Tun Razak, KL
Couple: Chong & Jane

This was a last minute assignment as Vincent (www.vincentpang.ws) called me up 2 hours before the wedding dinner. I had just picked up my relatives from KLIA and was just about to leave KLIA when he told me about it. As you all can tell, I accepted the assignment, rushed back home, packed up my gears and ready to roll out.

The wedding dinner was held in a cafe - Delicious. The interior decoration was nice and I must say that the food was good as well, I like the strawberry fondue the most. Food aside, these are a few of the shots I took that night. I really love how everyone was laughing so cheerfully that night. Aside from the happiness from the groom and bride, I can feel the fun and excitement from the family members and the guests as well.

The venue...

The groom...

The bride...

The environment and setting...

The happy people...

The cake cutting and toast...

And lastly, the cake and dessert...

Venue: Taiping, Perak, Malaysia
Couple: Wei Yap & Coco

Although the actual wedding day was on 18/10/2009, Vincent (www.vincentpang.ws) and I left Kuala Lumpur, heading to Taiping on 17/10/2009 noon time because we were needed to cover the dinner session and praying ceremony the night before the wedding.

As usual, Vincent was doing the driving while I sat relaxingly at the passenger seat and chit-chatied with him. The journey was all smooth until we reach somewhere near Behrang, Vincent noticed that the engine temperature meter was climbing and refused to drop. We stopped by at the rest house and only realized that we had a BUSTED engine cooling system!!

However, as responsible photographers, we decided to carry on our journey once the system had cooled down, but traveled only at a speed of 90km/h. This effectively maintained the temperature at a normal level. Although rather slow, we still managed to arrive at Wai Yip's house at Taiping at around 6.30pm - just nice!

The dinner was a buffet session, in which Wai Yip had invited friends and family over to share the joy.

note: As I'm still currently processing the photos at the time I wrote this, I do not have any photos to show. I might update this blog once I've got all the photos processed. (12/11/2009)

There are a few things that I've seen in this wedding for the first time in my life:

  1. The bride and groom were together, talking and eating happily the night before the actual wedding day.
  2. Both families praying to the "Tin Gong" (天公) the night before the actual wedding day.
  3. Groom and bride went to the saloon together for make up in the morning on the actual wedding day.
  4. No games were played when the groom went to pick up the bride on the actual wedding day.
  5. The bride opened the door and welcomed the groom on the actual wedding day.

It was truly an eye opener for me. Enough words and I will let the photos do the talking.

Candy? Anyone?

Our big day...

You are just beside me...

I'm done...

Waiting for the prince to show up...

Finally...

You're here...

As I've mentioned earlier, I'm still in the midst of processing the rest of the photos. Will update this entry once I'm done. I hope you have so far enjoyed the photos. Stay tune for the next update.

Venue: Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia
Couple: Danny & Vivian

This was my first outstation assignment and I was pretty excited about it. A special thanks to Vincent Pang (www.vincentpang.ws) for giving me such a good chance as well as giving me a ride from KL to Bentong.

The groom on that was Danny and bride was Vivian. Later only I got to know that they've been together for 13 years and finally decided to get married. Congratulations to the both of them!!

Vincent came to my house and we departed at around 4am and reachedVivian's house at 6am. The timing was good because the make-up artist arrived shortly after us. I left for Danny's place an hour later while Vincent stayed at Vivian's place.

The Ring....

All set to go....

Though Danny's house is only 2 streets away from Vivian's, a big and presentable car is still needed for such an important and grand occassion.

The mighty and brave "brothers" who would later face the challeges by the "sisters"

Malaysia is a land full of tolls.....no exception here......no money, no enter

The commitments....

Our hearts will always be one.....
