Venue: i-City, Shah Alam, Malaysia

Date: 27 March 2010

This was an event organized by members of photoclub (www.photoclub.com.my). This was also the first time that I've joined an event organized by them.

With the help of the signboards I managed to find my way to i-City and reached there at around 7.15pm. The organizing members were not there yet. Luckily I met a few other fellow photography friends there whom I can talk to while waiting. The event was supposed to start at 7pm but the organizing team and the big group of people who came together only reached at around 8pm. I was already feeling stuffy and hot due to the big crowd in that area. Apparently this is a place where many photography enthusiasts as well as families like to come during the night.

Was not feeling well, adding in the stuffy environment, I only took a few shots. The rest of the time I was walking around and talking with others.

These are the few shots that I took on that night...

And lastly... something different...

Location: Desa Park City, Kepong

Got a message from Valarie a week before and invited me to join a portrait session of herself. As for location, it was at the Desa Park City at Kepong.

On that day I picked up Valarie and a photographer, Lawrence and headed straight to the venue. There we met up with another photographer, Kimi. Took me sometime to warm up. Below are shots that I have taken.

Date: 06 February 2010

This is a session specially made for Alicia as her graduation "gift". As she couldn't make it for the university graduation ceremony in Japan, she wanted to have an album of her wearing kimono costume to "compensate" the "lost". The session was at Sentul Park.

On that day, Alicia brought her cousin, Peggy along for the shooting. We started shooting at around 9.30am around KLPAC and the Koi Center.

At around 11pm the weather was unbearably hot so we decided to call it for a day. After the girls have changed their clothing and a drink at the canteen, while driving our way out from Sentul Park we came across some abandoned buildings. More shootings!!!

Venue: Heritage Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

It was a public holiday for Selangor state on this day and I had to really thank Benjamin Lim (www.benjaminlim.net) for allowing me to tag along in this shooting session in Heritage Hotel. I've heard of numerous times that many couples did their prewedding shots here and this was the first time to shoot inside of this hotel.

The internal structure and decoration does bring out a very special atmosphere, unlike other shooting that I've done before. I really enjoyed this session and pretty much got inspired by Benjamin's way of seeing things while shooting. Thanks!

For those who wish to have a shooting session in this hotel, it is mandatory first get permission from the hotel management, unless you want to get kicked out. Benjamin did the necessary booking through online, kudos to him. For more information about this, you can visit this site: pre wedding & model photography @ the heritage station hotel, kuala lumpur.: NEW PROCEDURES FOR TAKING PHOTOS

I reached the hotel at around 8.45am, thought I would be late but only to have waited till 9-ish before Benjamin showed up together with our model of the day, Kay and his friend, Abby. Both Kay and Abby are nice girls to talk with and I enjoyed the entire shooting session.

So to not let you all listen to my old man story, please enjoy the photos that I've taken:
