I would like to thank Jean for inviting me along to this meaningful event. This event is sponsored by Estee Lauder Companies. We were required to purchase a RM30 ticket to join but since Jean has an extra ticket, I got to join this for free. From what I know, it is limited to 1200 participants. The things that attracted me to join are: 1)Jean invited me, 2)Charity, and 3)I was told that there will be special lighting on KL Tower.

So what was this event all about? The month of October is regarded as the International Breast Cancer month and this event is to bring up the people's awareness towards breast cancer. Participants were required to walk on the street of Kuala Lumpur, around the KL tower, for a distance of 3.8km, starting from KL Tower, wearing (preferably) pink. If you still haven't noticed that, pink is the official colour for breast cancer awareness - Pink t-shirt, pink ribbon etc.

I rushed to KL tower straight after work, though I was 15 minutes late, I was still able to join the fun together with Jean.

This was a really fun event and I can't thank more to Jean for inviting. Looking forward to Terry Fox Run which will be on 1st November 2009.
